New Okaloosa Economic Development Website Wins Silver ADDY Award

Created on February 26, 2018

Okaloosa County, Florida (February 26, 2018) –  Bit Wizards Inc. announced that it has won a 2018 Silver American Advertising Award for the new, mobile responsive website launched last year for the Economic Development Council of Okaloosa County (EDC). The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most prestigious competition. The EDC worked with Bit-Wizards to devise an aesthetically pleasing and information packed website designed to feature the area’s business attributes.

This honor showcases commitment to creative communication between the EDC of Okaloosa County and Bit Wizards. The site is structured with three primary routes for the user to choose from depending on their specific needs: Site Selection, EDC Organization and Talent Attraction.

“The Silver ADDY Award is a great acknowledgement of nearly 12 months of hard work and close collaboration that took place between the EDC and the talented team at Bit-Wizards,” said Nathan Sparks, EDC Executive Director.

The EDC website joins a list of eight Silver ADDY Awards for Bit Wizards projects in 2017.  For the last nine years, the Bit-Wizards team has received 45 ADDY Awards. Since 2015, Bit-Wizards has participated as a member of the local Pensacola American Advertising Federation Club.

“The Bit-Wizards team is proud to be honored alongside the most exceptional creative minds on the Emerald Coast.” said Candace Mitchell, Director of Marketing.

The annual American Advertising Awards is the largest and most comprehensive awards competition in America. Over 40,000 entries are made each year in local AAF Clubs nationwide. The purpose of the American Advertising Awards is to "recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising." This national advertising competition is a three-tier structure. Starting at the local level, award winners can move up to the regional level and then the national level.

The winning list this year includes a variety of media, including websites, print material, and even video. Bit-Wizards core services span the technology landscape to bring together both digital marketing and deeply technical engineering which provides Bit-Wizards' customers a 360-degree solution for any project.
